Posted on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, 5:35AM EST| I always find it funny that, after the game is played, nobody talks about the game anymore but always the commercials =P |

Posted on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, 6:36AM ESTI don't remember which product it was, which is funny because I probably should... but I remember some part at the very end of a commercial where some guy says to two girls in broken English:
"I am meat. We make sandwich."
That was enough to hold be over all game. |

Posted on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, 12:01PM ESTI must grudgingly admit that I liked the baby E-Trade commercial.
"I just bought stock. You just watched me buy stock."
I didn't see a lot of commercials, though. Wasn't really paying attention and it seemed like there weren't a lot of really interesting ones. :P |

The Super Bowl was on Feb 3rd. Thanksgiving is around the middle of the football season. |

Not a stupid question for someone who is not American. ;-) As Butta said, Thanksgiving is in the middle of the season. Every year, they schedule football games on Thanksgiving because it has been tradition since the 1920's. Thus, football is always associated with Thanksgiving. It's usually the second biggest game of the year for football. :o |

Posted on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, 8:56AM EST| OK, thanks :) Actually that explains why the superbowl episode of the simpsons didn't have a thanksgiving reference in it, was wondering about that one, hehe |

Posted on Monday, January 30, 2012, 8:03PM ESTThat's right. I'm reviving a thread from 2008 about the New York Giants and the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Also, Patriots. |
